Garden Days is Canada’s coast to coast to coast, three-day celebration of our National Garden Day which is held annually and starts on the Friday before Father’s Day.
Find out about the history of the Halifax Public Gardens, recongnized as a National Historic Site in 1984. The Gardens house a public collection of garden artefacts such as statues, a bandstand and fountains, which are representative of the Victorian era.
The Halifax Public Gardens and Leighton Dillman Park (Dartmouth Common) support charitable organizations in the region to promote upcoming events and milestones. Limited space is available in floral beds within both Gardens.
