NOTICE OF APPROVAL
BY-LAW M-401 RESPECTING AMENDMENTS TO BY-LAW M-400, THE MARKETING LEVY BY-LAW
PUBLIC NOTICE is hereby given that By-law M-401, Respecting Amendments to By-law M-400, the Marketing Levy By-law, was adopted by Halifax Regional Council on April 23, 2024.
By-law M-401 amends By-law M-400, Respecting Marketing Levy. The purpose of the amendment is to cancel any charges imposed on an operator under section 14 of this by-law for the period October 1, 2023 to March 31, 2024, provided the charges accrued on a remittance value of $0.00 and to give the Treasurer or delegate the authority to waive, remove or reduce assessment fines.

NOTICE OF APPROVAL
BY-LAW S-452 RESPECTING CHARGES FOR STREET IMPROVEMENTS
PUBLIC NOTICE is hereby given that By-law S-452, Respecting Street Improvements, was adopted by Halifax Regional Council on April 23, 2024.
By-law S-452 amends By-law S-400, Respecting Charges for Street Improvements. The purpose of the amendment is to impose an LIC to 50 properties for the paving of Glory Avenue, Hope Avenue, Lake Eagle Drive, Lake Mist Court, Noble Court, Queens Road and Joel Crescent.
