Motion:
It is recommended that Harbour East-Marine Drive Community Council give First Reading to consider approval of the proposed amendment to the Dartmouth Land Use By-law, as set out in Attachment A of the staff report dated January 17, 2018, to rezone a portion of lands at 9 Veterans Avenue from the R-3 (Multiple Family Residential-Medium Density) zone to the S (Institutional) zone, a portion of the lands from the R-1 (Single Family Residential) zone to the S zone, and a portion of the lands from the R-3 zone to the R-1 zone and schedule a public hearing.

Motion:
That Harbour East Marine Drive Community Council:
1. Recommend that Regional Council give First Reading to consider the proposed amendments to the Municipal Planning Strategies (MPS) and Land Use By-laws (LUB) for Cole Harbour/Westphal, Dartmouth and Planning Districts 14 and 17, as set out in Attachments A and B of the staff report dated November 21, 2017, to allow industrial and highway commercial uses on the Conrad quarry lands and schedule a public hearing.

2. Approve the proposed amendments to the Municipal Planning Strategies (MPS) and Land Use By-laws (LUB) for Cole Harbour/Westphal, Dartmouth and Planning Districts 14 and 17, as set out in Attachments A and B of the staff report dated November 21, 2017, to allow industrial and highway commercial uses on the Conrad quarry lands.
