Motion
That the Heritage Advisory Committee recommend that Regional Council:

1.    Give First Reading to consider approval of the proposed amendments to the Regional Centre Secondary Municipal Planning Strategy Policy and Land Use By-law as set out in Attachment C1 and C2 of the staff report dated March 27, 2024, to implement policy changes related to heritage and schedule a public hearing; and

2.    Adopt the proposed amendments to the Regional Centre Secondary Municipal Planning Strategy and Land Use By-law, as set out in Attachment C1 and C2.

Motion
That the Heritage Advisory Committee recommend that Regional Council:

1.    Set a date for a heritage hearing to consider the inclusion of the subject property in the Registry of Heritage Property for the Halifax Regional Municipality; and

2.    Approve the request to include 1735 Henry Street, Halifax, in the Registry of Heritage Property for the Halifax Regional Municipality, as shown on Map 1 of the staff report dated March 26, 2024, as a municipal heritage property under the Heritage Property Act.
