Restrictions on municipal park spaces
Effective Aug. 5 at 4 p.m., restrictions were placed on access to woods in municipal park spaces due to the Fire Proclamation – Travel Ban issued by the Province of Nova Scotia. These restrictions will remain in place until 2 p.m. on Oct. 15.

Secondary suite incentive grant
Apply for up to $12,900 in non-repayable grants. The Second Unit Incentive Program (SUIP) is part of the Housing Accelerator Fund and is designed to make it easier and more affordable to add housing in the Halifax region.
