Police investigate robbery

Halifax Regional Police is investigating a robbery that occurred in Halifax last night.

At approximately 8 p.m. officers responded to a robbery that had just occurred near Hollis and South streets. A man, with what was believed to be a knife, approached the victim and demanded his property. The suspect fled the area on foot with the victim’s property. The victim was not physically injured.

The suspect is described as a Black man in his 20s, approximately 5’10” tall, with a thin build, moustache and wearing a black jacket, black ski mask, grey pants, black shoes and white socks.
