  • Fall Recreation programs & activities  - WednesdayAugust 14, beginning at 10:00 a.m. 
  • Swimming and Skating programs & activities - Thursday, August 15, beginning at 10:00 a.m.

Please Note: 

If you have a credit on your MyREC account we encourage you to use it for the upcoming fall 2024 registration (recreation programs, swimming & skating).

We offer recreation programs at municipal recreation centres that are owned and operated by the municipality. You can register online by logging in or creating a new account. You can also search for a program or location. 

To register in-person visit your nearest HRM-owned and operated Recreation Centre.

To register by phone call our recreation line at 902-490-6666. See the table below for the hours of operation for the phone line. Should you require assistance outside of the hours noted in the table below please contact your local HRM-owned and operated Recreation Centre.

Did you know?

Advanced, online, activity bookings for the pools at the Sackville Sports Stadium, Captain William Spry Community Centre & Needham Community Centre are no longer required. You can just show up! First come, first serve.
