We've launched a new recreation registration platform!

Please call the Recreation Registration Line at 902.490.6666 or visit the front desk staff at your local municipal recreation facility with any questions or support inquiries.

• We recommend registering from a desktop or tablet using Chrome as the browser.
• The easiest way to register is to use individual course codes. These codes are available under Fall 2025 Programs.

• If you have not registered for a Halifax Parks and Recreation program since April 1, 2025, you may need to create a new profile.

• Registration for fall programs, swimming and skating is now ongoing

Please Note:

• Registration for the Canada Games Centre, Cole Harbour Place, Zatzman Sportsplex and St Margaret’s Centre takes place on different dates and times. Please visit their websites directly for their registration information.
• Indoor pools include Sackville Sports Stadium, Needham Centre, and Captain William Spry.  Outdoor pools include Halifax Commons Pool,  Bedford Outdoor Pool, and Cole Harbour Outdoor Pool.

How to Register Online, In-person or by Phone

We offer recreation programs at municipal recreation centres that are owned and operated by the municipality. You can register online by logging in or creating a new account. You can also search for a program or location.

To register in-person visit your nearest HRM-owned and operated Recreation Centre.

To register by phone call our recreation line at 902-490-6666. See the table below for the hours of operation for the phone line. Should you require assistance outside of the hours noted in the table below please contact your local HRM-owned and operated Recreation Centre.
