Disc Golf

Disc Golf Summer 2022 Pilot Program

Enjoy Disc Golf on the Dartmouth Commons this summer as part of Parks & Recreation’s pilot program! We’re excited to bring this easy to learn and easy to play activity to Dartmouth from July 4 – September 11, 2022. Your feedback and participation will help us gauge the level of interest for this activity in other communities throughout the municipality. To share your thoughts, please email discgolf@halifax.ca

As part of our pilot program, we’re offering free weekly Disc Golf workshops. Disc Golf sets are available to borrow through the Findlay Community Centre’s free equipment loan program. We also welcome you to play at your leisure using your own equipment.

Friendly Reminders:

  • This is a mixed-use park, so please share the space with others. Those not playing Disc Golf have the right of way at all times. Please respect and observe all municipal bylaws and posted park rules.
  • Never throw a disc into a blind area or when pedestrians, players, spectators, or other park users are within range. Use a spotter.
  • No playing after dark.
  • Let faster players go ahead to keep things moving.
