Request
Harbour East Marine Drive Community Council initiated an amendment to the Eastern Shore (West) Land Use By-law to consider allowing an extension to the timeline identified in Section 4.4(e)(iv) of the Land Use By-law as it relates to the shared private driveway known as Moser Head Road.
Proposal
The Eastern Shore (West) Land Use By-law (LUB) requires that properties accessed by the shared private driveway known as Moser Head Road be constructed to the design standards contained in Schedule E of the LUB as of January 1, 2022, as per Section 4.4(e)(iv). If Moser Head Road does not meet the design standards contained in Schedule E, permits for development cannot be issued until Schedule E is satisfied, at a minimum, to the property seeking permits. This amendment seeks to extend the timeline for meeting the engineering and design standards for Moser Head Road.
