On August 3, at 3 a.m., members of the Halifax Regional Police and RCMP Cole Harbour Detachment responded to the McDonald’s Restaurant located at 588 Portland Street in Dartmouth for reports that a man carrying a gun was involved in an argument. Responding officers located several persons and took the suspect into custody without incidents and a replica pistol was recovered. A 19-year-old man from Eastern Passage is held in custody and will be attending court on Tuesday to face several weapon related charges.
