At approximately 11:15 P.M. a 37-year-old man was walking in the area of Purcell’s Cove and Williams Lake Roads when he was confronted by two youths in an intimidating manner. The youths demanded the victim’s cell phone and keys. The victim was walking with a special needs child and did not want any type of confrontation so he turned over these items and then walked from the area to call police. A short time later the 2 suspects were located in the area and taken in to custody and the victim’s property was recovered. The two suspects, ages of 13 and 15, are being remanded to the Watervillle Youth Facility and will appear in Halifax Youth court on Monday September 22, 2014 to each face a criminal charge of robbery.
