On January 30, at 6:30 p.m. members of the HRP/RCMP Integrated Guns and Gangs unit arrested a 32-year-old man in the Gottingen Street area, at the time of his arrest a loaded handgun was seized. A short time later Police executed a search Warrant at a residence on Sunrise Walk. During the search a quantity of cocaine was located and seized as well as other drug paraphernalia and a loaded assault rifle. A 23-year-old female resident was arrested during the search and both parties will attend court today to face drug and several weapon related charges.
