On February 4, 7:30 p.m., HRP members responded to a vehicle/pedestrian collision. A 24-year-old woman was crossing Lacewood Drive at the intersection with Willett Street in Halifax in a marked crosswalk. The victim was halfway across the intersection and was about to step up on the median when her trailing foot was clipped by a vehicle making a left hand turn from Willett onto Lacewood. The victim was knocked to the ground, and was treated at the scene by EHS for non-life threatening injuries. The vehicle is described as a black truck with a lift kit, no make or model was obtained and there is no description of the driver at this time.
