On May 3, at 8:50 p.m. – HRP members responded to a Break & Enter in progress at a fenced construction compound located at the intersection of Maynard Street and Harris Street in Halifax. The anonymous caller stated that two suspects were stealing construction material at that location. Upon arrival,  police located one suspect inside the compound but the second suspect had fled and was not located. The 45-year-old male suspect from the Dartmouth area was found to be in possession of a variety of break & enter tools. The suspect has been held in custody and will appear in Halifax Provincial Court on Monday where he will face charges for  Break & Enter and Possession of Break & Enter tools. This matter remains under investigation at this time.
