Halifax Regional Police/RCMP Integrated General Investigative Section are investigating a domestic related incident which took place on May 18, between 5am-9am in the 400 block of Portland Hills Drive in Dartmouth. Two female victims were assaulted inside the residence by a male suspect. One of the woman was removed from the residence against her will and driven to another address on Upper Partridge Road in North Preston where the assault continued. The suspect, a 25-year-old man, is known to the victims and has been arrested on charges of break & enter, kidnapping, forcible confinement, assault causing bodily harm, failure to stop at a scene of an accident and weapons related charges. He will be held in custody to attend court on Tuesday, May 20th. The victims sustained non-life threatening injuries and were treated and released from the hospital.
