On May 19, at 10:00 p.m., members of the Halifax Regional Police responded to a robbery at the Rotary Esso located at 7151 Chebucto Rd. in Halifax. A lone male suspect entered the store, threatened the female clerk and demanded cash. The suspect was given an undisclosed amount of cash and fled the store on foot. No weapon was observed and the employee was not injured during the incident. Multiple units checked the surrounding area but the suspect was not located.
Suspect description: white man, mid 20’s, medium build, 6 ‘ tall, black hair wearing a blue - blue jays jersey with #13 on the back, long black shorts, black dress shoes and a baseball cap.
