On June 27, at 9:30 p.m., three female youths went for a walk in the wooded area near Long Lake off North West Arm Drive in Halifax and became lost. Patrol officers, assisted by Ground Search and Rescue were able to locate the three girls in the nearby wooded area just after midnight. They did not require medical attention and were turned over to family members.
