On July 13, at 6:40 a.m., - Halifax Regional Police responded to a weapons complaint in the 2000 Block of Middle Lane in Halifax. Information had been received that a man was in possession of a knife and was threatening another person at the address. Patrol and Emergency Response Team officers attended, contained the scene and entered the residence. During a search of the residence, two persons, a man and a woman were taken into custody without incident by Emergency Response Team officers. No one was injured during this incident.
A 26-year-old man from the Halifax area has been charged with Breach of the Peace, a 23-year-old woman from the Dartmouth area has been charged with Failing to Attend Court and Breach of a Court Order, she will attend Halifax Provincial Court at a later date.
