On April 11, at 7:05 p.m., Halifax Regional Police were called to the area of Gebhardt Street and Randall Avenue in Halifax for a report of a party struck by a vehicle in which the vehicle had fled the scene. Information was received that witnesses had one of the parties responsible in their custody and were awaiting police arrival. Upon arrival officers were able to determine that there were two male youths involved in this incident and that the individual struck by the vehicle was no longer onsite. A 15-year-old male youth and a 16-year-old male youth were located and arrested and will be attending court later today to face a number of charges in relation to this incident. The individual who was believed to have been struck by the vehicle was identified and located and no injuries were sustained, he was also a 15-year-old male youth. The vehicle involved was located and determined to have been stolen on April 8 in Herring Cove..
