On May 7, at 10:20 p.m. Halifax Regional Police responded to the 1000 block of MicMac Boulevard in Dartmouth for a report of a robbery that had just occurred. A 60-year-old woman was walking when she was approached by two men who attempted to take her purse. The victim was able to hold onto her purse however one of the suspects pulled her necklace off before fleeing the scene. The victim received a minor injury to her neck when her necklace was pulled off. The suspects are described as being in their late teens. The first suspect is a white man, 5’2’’, thin build with a long face wearing a dark hoody, dark pants and possibly gloves. The second suspect is a white man, 5’, heavier build, wearing a gray/charcoal hoody and dark pants. This matter is still under investigation by the General Investigation Section.
