On May 23, at 9:43 p.m. an 18-year-old man arrived at the QE2 emergency room with a gunshot wound to his hip area. The investigation is in the early stages and the victim is not being cooperative with officers and is refusing to provide any information regarding the incident. An Forensic Identification Officer attended the hospital and the investigation will be handled by detectives in the General Investigation Section.
