Police are asking for the public’s assistance in identifying a man involved in an indecent act that took place last week in Halifax.

On June 26 at 3:40 a.m., a man walked to the rear of a building located in the 7100 block of Andrew Street. The man attempted to climb to a second floor balcony but he was unable to do so. He returned to the back entrance of the building, pulled his pants down and masturbated next to the back door of the building. He later fled the area on foot towards Joseph Howe Drive. The incident was reported to police later that day after it was observed on video surveillance.

Police are releasing a collage of pictures of the suspect. He is described as a thin white man in his twenties. At the time of the incident, he was wearing grey gym pants, a black hoodie with a light-coloured design on the shoulders and black high top sneakers with a white tag.
