16-144679 & 144682 - Attempt Robbery and Robbery

At 9 p.m. on September 23, staff of the Guardian Pharmacy at 205 Herring Cove Road,were getting ready to close for the evening when a man attempted to push open the main doors to gain entry. He then left the area on foot. He was described as a white man, over 6' with black fabric over his face and wearing a black sweater and sweatpants with stripes.

At 9:14 p.m. the same night, a man holding a knife in his hand entered the Petro Canada service station at 231 Herring Cove Road and demanded cash and cigarettes. He fled on foot after obtaining a small quantity of each product. There were no  physical injuries as a result of the robbery. Patrol members along with a K-9 team searched the area for the suspect but were not able to locate him. 

Suspect is described as a white man in his 20s, wearing a black ski mask, black sweater, grey Adidas sweatpants with stripes on the lower leg and sneakers. The suspect is believed to be the same suspect involved in the Guardian Pharmacy incident.

The file remains under investigation.
