7th Annual Cole Harbour Harvest Festival Parade

Thursday, September 4, 2014 (Halifax, NS) – The 7th Annual Cole Harbour Harvest Festival, a fun full-filled day for the whole family, will be held Saturday, Sept. 6, in and around Cole Harbour Place.

The day starts at 9 a.m. with the Harvest Festival Road Race and a free pancake breakfast, followed by a Grand Street Parade at 10 a.m. The day will feature many activities as well, including a farmers’ market, health fair, corn boil, free skate and tons of games and a skateboarding competition for the kids.  From 11 a.m. until 3 p.m., the main stage will host a variety of shows, including multi-cultural entertainment groups, children entertainers KiddlyWinX, a hoola-hoop demonstration by Halifax Hoopers, local musician David Bradshaw and a chef’s cook-off.

There will also be a fireworks display 9 p.m., followed by a free drive-in movie showing of Back to the Future. There will also be seating for those without a vehicle.
