The Halifax Regional Municipality is advising residents and motorists that road construction will take place this weekend (Saturday and Sunday) on Akerley Boulevard between Burnside and Joseph Zatzman drives.
Crews will be on site from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. each day. Lane drops will be in place while work is underway.
Drivers are asked to use alternative routes whenever possible.
The municipality appreciates your patience while this work is completed.
