Tuesday, August 23, 2016 (Halifax, NS) - The Halifax Regional Municipality is advising residents and motorists that overnight road construction will take place on Alderney Drive from King Street to Ochterloney Street. The work is scheduled for Wednesday and Thursday evenings beginning at 9 p.m. and continuing until 6 a.m. the following morning.
There will be lane drops in place and the signals at Ochterloney, Queen and Portland Streets will not be operational during these times. Traffic control personnel will be in place to assist.
Motorists should expect delays in the area and are asked to use alternative routes whenever possible. The municipality regrets any inconvenience this work may cause.
