Arrows recovered

Halifax Regional Police is requesting the public’s assistance finding the owners of a unique set of recovered arrows with case.  

On July 13 at 9:39 p.m., police attempted to conduct a traffic stop on a SUV in the area of Dentith and Herring Cove Roads after observing the vehicle travelling at a high rate of speed. Officers followed the vehicle to the area of Sharleen Court where four youths got out of the vehicle and fled on foot into a wooded area. The investigation revealed that the vehicle had been stolen earlier that day. Two male youths were taken into custody without incident and were later released without charges.

Officers recovered the vehicle as well as a set of arrows in a case at the time of the arrest. The arrows that were recovered in the vehicle did not belong to the vehicle’s owner.

The owner or anyone with information regarding the owner of these items is asked to contact Halifax Regional Police at 902-490-5016. In order to claim the arrows, the person must be able to specify any distinctive features.
