At about 2:30 a.m., Halifax Regional Police responded to a large disturbance at the intersection of Argyle Street and Blower Street. A man was found to have been severely beaten and was bleeding from his head area. He was transported to the QE2 by EHS were it was learned he had also been stabbed in the chest area. Officers spoke to several people who were in the area and are continuing to investigate the assault. The victim is a 28-year-old man from Dartmouth is still at the QE2 with non life threatening injuries.
