Tuesday, Oct. 20, 2015 (Halifax, NS) – The Halifax Regional Municipality is advising residents that due to the availability of equipment, the asphalt milling scheduled for Brunswick Street today between Duke Street and Portland Place will now take place between 7 a.m. and 6 p.m. tomorrow, Oct. 21.
The night work scheduled for tonight in the intersection of Duke Street and Brunswick Street will go ahead as scheduled, beginning at 6 pm. and continuing until about 9:30 p.m.
There will be night work tomorrow evening as well. Starting at 6 p.m., crews will be working in the intersection of Brunswick Street and Cogswell Street. That work is expected to continue until about 1 a.m. on Thursday, Oct. 22.
There will be lane drops in place while all of this work is underway. Motorists should expect delays in the area and are asked to use alternative routes, if possible. The municipality regrets any inconvenience this road work may cause.
