Friday, June 10, 2016 (Halifax, NS) – The Halifax Regional Municipality is advising residents and motorists to expect traffic delays in the Burnside Park and Dartmouth Crossing areas of Dartmouth, on Saturday evening, June 11, due to the Sole Sisters 5K event.
The Sole Sisters 5K race will take place from 6 p.m. until approximately 7:30 p.m., on Saturday, June 11. Rolling street closures will be in place along the race route, as follows:
Starting at Wright Avenue, proceeding north on Wilkinson Avenue to the end, then turning south on Wilkinson; proceeding west on Jennett Avenue to near John Savage Avenue; east on Jennett Avenue, south on Burbridge Avenue to near Wright Avenue, north on Burbridge Avenue; east on Jennett Avenue; and south on Wilkinson avenue back to the start line.
Motorists are advised to expect delays in the area and find alternative routes during this time.
