The Halifax Regional Municipality is seeking volunteers for various Regional Council advisory boards and committees. Residents interested in connecting with the community are encouraged to apply for these opportunities no later than Friday, Oct. 20.
Current opportunities include volunteer roles with the Planning Advisory Committee, Grants Committee, Halifax Regional Library Board, Halifax Water Commission and a number of others (15 in total).
For more information on these volunteer opportunities, including eligibility requirements, residents can visit https://www.halifax.ca/city-hall/boards-committees-commissions/volunteer-boards-committees or call the Municipal Clerk’s Office at 902-490-4210 during regular business hours, Monday to Friday.
Residents should note all appointments are made in accordance with the Public Appointment Policy adopted by Regional Council.
