A man faces charges after a search this morning in Dartmouth by the HRP/RCMP Integrated Internet Child Exploitation (ICE) Unit.
Earlier today, ICE investigators conducted a search of a residence on Grandview Drive. Officers arrested a suspect without incident and seized computer equipment.
Fifty-three-old Ronald Geoffrey Kirby has been charged with accessing child pornography, possession of child pornography and breach of probation. He was released under conditions to not communicate with children under the age of 16, not possess a device able to access the internet and not be within 50 meters of a place frequented by children. He will be back in Dartmouth court on February 11, 2014.
