Wednesday, May 27, 2015 (Halifax, NS) – The Halifax Regional Municipality is advising residents that a section of College Street in Halifax will be closed to daytime traffic for the rest of the week while crews install a water pipeline.
Crews will shut the street down daily between Summer and Carlton streets starting at 7 a.m. The street will reopen each night at about 9 p.m. During the day, crews will accommodate access for local traffic only. Pedestrians will still be able to walk through the area.
This work and the temporary closure are expected to wrap up at about 9 p.m. on Friday, May 29. Motorists are encouraged to find alternative routes until then. The municipality regrets any inconvenience this work may cause.
