Uniacke Square Community Beautification Day has been postponed for today because of the inclement weather, it will be held next Saturday June 16th 2012.

Area residents, in partnership with Halifax Regional Municipality, Halifax Regional Police and the Metro Regional Housing Authority, are hosting the seventh annual Community Beautification Day in Uniacke Square this Saturday beginning at 10 a.m.
The Beautification Day will involve various agencies and citizens in a litter clean-up and flower planting. The event will culminate with a lunchtime BBQ and entertainment on Uniacke Street, which will be closed to traffic from 9:30 a.m. until 3 p.m. The Uniacke Street Sound Studio will also be hosting an open house to celebrate its new location at the corner of Uniacke and Gottingen Streets.
