Thursday, Oct. 16, 2014 (Halifax, NS) – The Halifax Regional Municipality is advising residents that patching work will continue today, Oct. 16, on Barrington Street near the MacKay Bridge, the Windsor Street Exchange and the Bedford Highway.
Crews will be working in the morning from 9 a.m. until 12 p.m. on the inbound lanes of the Bedford Highway, from Bayview Road to the Windsor Street Exchange.
Work will shift in the afternoon from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m., to the Barrington Street extension from the MacKay Bridge to the Windsor Street Exchange.
Lane drops will be in place while this work is going on and there will be stop-and-go traffic. Motorists should expect delays and are encouraged to use alternative routes, if possible.
The municipality apologizes in advance for any inconvenience this work may cause.
