Friday, May 27, 2016 (Halifax, NS) – The Halifax Regional Municipality is advising residents and motorists that Nova Scotia Power will be working on overhead lines on Cunard Street near the roundabout tomorrow (Saturday) and Sunday.
Crews will be on site both days from 8 a.m. until 4 p.m.
The right-hand lane inbound to the roundabout will be closed and traffic will detour onto Maynard Street. Pedestrians will be directed around the work site as needed.
It should be noted the Chalice Canada’s Step Up Walk fundraiser planned for the area on Sunday will not be interrupted by the power-line work.
Motorists are advised to follow posted detour signage in the area or find an alternative route whenever possible.
The municipality and Nova Scotia Power apologize in advance for any inconvenience this work may cause.
