The Halifax Regional Municipality is advising residents and motorists that Doyle Street will be closed tomorrow to facilitate the removal of the tower crane.
Crews will be on site from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. The work will take place on Saturday if there is inclement weather tomorrow.
There will be a full street closure in effect on Doyle Street between Queen and Brunswick streets while work is underway. Traffic safety personnel will direct motorists, pedestrians, and cyclists around the worksite, as needed.
Motorists should expect delays in the area and are asked to take alternative routes whenever possible.
Access to local businesses will be maintained at all times. Sidewalks will remain open during the closure.
The municipality appreciates your patience while this work is completed.
