A man faces drug charges after an arrest last night in Halifax.
At 10:38 p.m., officers assigned to the Central Quick Response Unit observed a man in the 2000 block of Gottingen Street they believed was selling drugs. The 51-year-old man was arrested without incident and officers seized a quantity of crack cocaine and cash. Officers determined that the man was on parole so a parole warrant was issued.
He was remanded to the Central Nova Scotia Correction Facility on the warrant and is scheduled to appear in Halifax Provincial Court at a later date to face charges of drug possession for the purpose of trafficking.
