Drug Charges

A man and a woman face charges after a drug search last night in Halifax.

At 8:45 p.m., officers assigned to the HRP/RCMP Integrated Drug Unit executed a search at an apartment in the 0 to 100 block of Tamarack Drive. Officers seized a quantity of cocaine, drug paraphernalia and cash. The suspects, who were in the apartment at the time of the search, were arrested without incident.

Twenty-two-year-old Clayton Daniel Cromwell is charged with one count of possession of drugs for the purpose of trafficking and four breaches of court orders. He was held in custody and will appear in Halifax Provincial Court today. Fifty-one-year-old Elizabeth Mary Cromwell is charged with one count of possession of drugs for the purpose of trafficking and will appear in Halifax Provincial Court on March 18.
