Drug charges

Two men face drug charges after a search warrant was executed yesterday in Halifax.

At 12:35 p.m., officers assigned to the Drug Unit of the Integrated Criminal Investigation Division conducted a search of a residence in the 0-100 block of Lavender Walk. Officers seized a quantity of cocaine, marijuana, prescription medication, drug paraphernalia and cash during the search. Two men were arrested at the scene without incident.

Twenty-one-year-old Christopher Picco and 32-year-old Bradley Keller, both of Halifax, face two counts each of possession of drugs for the purpose of trafficking. Christopher Picco also faces one count of breach of probation. They both appeared in Halifax Provincial Court today.
