Three men face drug charges after a search warrant was executed yesterday in Halifax.

At 10:55 p.m., officers assigned to the Drug Unit of the Integrated Criminal Investigation Division conducted a search of an apartment in the 100 block of Evans Avenue. Officers seized a quantity of marijuana, cannabis resin, drug paraphernalia and cash during the search. Three men were arrested at the scene without incident.

Forty-nine-year-old Nelson Drummond of Halifax faces two counts of possession of drugs for the purpose of trafficking and three breaches of a previously imposed court order. He was held in custody overnight and will appear in Halifax Provincial Court today. A 21-year-old man and a 19-year-old man, both of Halifax, each face two counts of possession of drugs for the purpose of trafficking and will appear in Halifax Provincial Court at a later date.
