Drug charges

A man, a woman and a male youth face charges after a drug search yesterday in Halifax.

Yesterday afternoon, officers assigned to the Drug Unit of the Integrated Criminal Investigation Division executed a search warrant at a residence in the 0-100 block of Lavender Walk. Officers seized a quantity of cocaine, drug paraphernalia and cash. The suspects were arrested at the scene without incident. 

Twenty-year-old Quintin Joseph Thomas and a 17-year-old male youth are each charged with possession of drugs for the purpose of trafficking. They were held in custody and will appear in court today. Thirty-eight-year-old Tammy Marie Day is also charged with possession of drugs for the purpose of trafficking. She will appear in Halifax Provincial Court at a later date.
