A man faces a drug-related charge as a result of a search yesterday in Dartmouth.

At 3:30 p.m., officers assigned to the HRP/RCMP Integrated Guns and Gangs Unit executed a search warrant at a residence in the 200 block of Waverley Road. Officers seized a quantity of marijuana, packaging, drug paraphernalia and cash.

A 30-year-old Dartmouth man was arrested at the scene without incident. He faces a charge of trafficking marijuana. He was released from custody and will appear in Dartmouth Provincial Court on August 20.
