A man faces charges after a drug searches in Dartmouth over the weekend.

On June 20 at 8:30 p.m., officers in the Drug Unit of the Integrated Criminal Investigation Division executed a search warrant at a residence in the 0-100 block of Byron Crescent. Officers seized a quantity of cocaine, marijuana, drug paraphernalia and cash. A man and a woman were arrested at the scene without incident.

Thirty-four-year-old Nicholas Andrew Brooks of Dartmouth is facing charges of possession of drugs for the purpose of trafficking, possession of drugs and four counts of breaching previously imposed court orders. He was held in custody and is scheduled to appear in Dartmouth Provincial Court today. A 54-year-old Dartmouth woman is facing charges of possession of drugs for the purpose of trafficking and possession of drugs. She was released from custody and will appear in Dartmouth Provincial Court at a later date.
