The Halifax Regional Municipality is advising residents that the Downtown Halifax Business Commission will be offering free parking in zone B during March Break, from Monday, March 15 through Friday, March 19, to promote activities around the municipality.
During this time, parking sessions via HotSpot or pay stations within zone B will be free up to a maximum of four hours, as per the current time cap. Note: residents must still register for parking sessions via HotSpot or a pay station to avoid receiving a ticket, from March 15 to March 19.

La Municipalité régionale d’Halifax informe les résidents que la Downtown Halifax Business Commission offrira un stationnement gratuit dans la zone B pendant la semaine de relâche du lundi 15 mars au vendredi 19 mars, afin de promouvoir des activités dans la municipalité.
Pendant cette période, les séances de stationnement par le biais de HotSpot ou les stations payantes dans la zone B seront gratuites jusqu’à un maximum de quatre heures, selon le délai en vigueur. Remarque : les résidents doivent toujours s’inscrire pour des séances de stationnement par le biais de HotSpot ou un terminal de paiement pour éviter de recevoir une contravention, du 15 mars au 19 mars.
