At approximately 11:30 p.m. on August 23, two males broke into a home located on Ferndale Drive in Halifax. The lone resident, a 74-year-old woman, was at home at the time. The suspects encountered the resident and threatened her as they removed items from her home. The suspects then fled the area on foot and were last seen running down St. Margaret's Bay Road towards the Armdale roundabout. The homeowner was not injured during the incident. One suspect is described as a white male, approximately 6’ tall with reddish hair, wearing a yellow hoodie. The second suspect is described as a white male, 5'7 - 5'8 tall with a stocky build, dressed in all dark clothing and wearing a dark ski mask.
