Go# 12-157539 - Police Investigating Early Morning Robbery in Bedford

At  approximately 1 a.m. on Sunday, October 28, a lone male entered the Tim Hortons  at 1525 Bedford Highway. The male placed his order and when the clerk opened  the cash register the male demanded money. He then produced a knife, jumped  over the counter, pushed the clerk out of the way and removed cash from the  register. The suspect then fled Tim Hortons, running behind the store. The  Halifax Regional Police K-9 Unit attended and attempted a track, however, the  suspect was not located. The clerk was checked by EHS but did not suffer any  injuries. The suspect is described as a white male, 5'9". At the time of  the incident, he was wearing sunglasses, a black coat with fur around the hood  and gloves.
