At approximately 6:55 a.m., police responded to the 0-50 block of Foxwood Terrace in Halifax in response to a report of three very young children in a parking lot who appeared to be unsupervised and dressed inappropriately for the weather conditions. Upon arrival, the officersrs were able to locate the children whose ages ranged from three to seven yers-old. The children were fine. The parents of the children were located a short time later. They were initially unaware of the childrens' absence and it appears that the children may have gotten out of the family residence through a ground floor window. Community Services has been notified and the police investigation into this matter has been closed.
