At 8:09 p.m., an officer was travelling east on Almond Street at Robie Street in a marked Patrol Vehicle. As the officer entered the intersection, a vehicle travelling west on Almond Street turned left towards Robie Street in front of the police vehicle and te vehicles collided. The officer attended the hospital with minor injuries. The driver of the other vehicle, a 40 year old female from Dartmouth, was issued a 7 day suspension for the quantity of alcohol in her system as well as a two summary offence tickets, one for driving without a valid license and one for failing to yield to a vehicle while making a left turn.
